the crudé-minded individual: I'm pointing out who leftists are in bed with. Social justice on display, loud and clear: it's another tool of a billionaire atheist who collaborated with the nazis.Well, I for one, am willing to believe that B.Prokop doesn't think too deeply about political matters.
What do you think of Soros, Bob?
Bob Prokop: Ha! Prior to your comment, I thought Soros was a Republican. So I guess whatever I think of him is wrong!
I can't ever seem to convince you - I don't think about politics much at all. Whole days go by without my worrying about them at all.
How could anyone paying even a scintilla of attention to current events ever imagine that Soros is a Republican and/or a conservative? As best I can see, the "reasoning" goes something like this --
Apparently, what B.Prokop knew about Soros is this:One of the amusing things about this is that Soros pulls the strings (via funding) not only of the current Social Just-Us Wankerism which has B.Prokop reconsidering his commitment to leftism, but also of the (slightly) older (and slightly more rational) leftism of which B.Prokop approves and which he promotes ... when he's not pretending to be above politics.
1) he is *very* wealthy
possibly, he also knew this:
2) he is a *very* wicked man.
So, of course -- even without 2) -- Soros must be a Republican.

"Ultra-Wealthy
While Democrats lose support as income increases, there seems to be a tipping point where the ultra-wealthy begin leaning Democratic. The most famous example would be the entertainment industry, where star-studded events have become a significant part of Democratic culture.
But this phenomenon is not limited to Hollywood. A review of the 20 richest Americans, as listed by Forbes Magazine, found that 60 percent affiliate with the Democratic Party, including the top three individuals: Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Larry Ellison. Among the riches families, the Democratic advantage rises even higher, to 75 percent." -Source
Jonah also loves to point out how corporations & CEOs are not nearly as right-wing as people like to think.

I'm a stickler for technicalities so I won't quite claim "SJWs always lie" but they are always misinformed.

That's good!

Of course they are not -- "crony capitalism", aka "corporate welfare" ensures that. They know which side the bread is buttered on ... and, more importantly, how to get it buttered again.

Actually, you're close to the mark. I had heard the name, without paying much (if any) attention to it. I knew he was some sort of a mega-donor, but never bothered to find out who he was donating to. I'm honestly not sure why I thought he was a Republican. I most probably had him confused with the Koch brothers.
But I do get annoyed by crude's unwillingness to believe that people can grow, change, and learn. Yes, I was once a great sinner, in that I was politically an extreme partisan. But by God's Mercy, I was made aware of how deadly to one's soul being such was. I renounced my Evil Ways, and pray that I never again fall into such a low state.
Yes, I still have "political" views, but I do not regard those who disagree with me as deluded, evil, insincere, un-American, ungodly, dishonest, or ignorant. I do not believe they hate freedom, nor do I think they want the terrorists to win. We simply disagree.
However, Ilion has yet to renounce Hell's Own Governing Constitution. :)
^ It's good that *you* brought that up.
Thought I'd throw you a bone...
