His Grandfather's Son

Yesterday, I picked up a copy of Clarence Thomas' autobiography, 'My Grandfather's Son' (for $.50, woohoo!) I've always had a favorable opinion of Thomas, and as I'm reading the book, I'm thinking more highly of him ... and of his grandfather. So far, I've read to the point just after his grandparents died.

edit:
He mentions in passing that during his confirmation "hearings" to the Supreme Court -- when "the media," as they alsways do, was working hand-in-glove with "progressive" groups to smear him and derail his nomination -- some reporter was even trying to argue with his mother about how many children she'd had.
